CULTURAL EXPEDITIONS
The Hamer people of Ethiopia are well known for their unique cultural practices and ceremonies that attract a large number of visitors to this region every year. Their ceremonies include bull-jumping in order to initiate young boys into adulthood. They also have sophisticated and interesting ways of living which are not to be missed.

The southern region is home to other ethnic tribes including the Karo and Mursi all with their own interesting cultures, ceremonies and traditions. We will be honored to show them to you.

OMO RIVER EXPEDITIONS
At Evangadi Lodge we organize exciting expeditions up and down the Omo River. Evangadi Lodge itself is situated about an hour's drive from this famous river. You can count on us to be familiar with all the exciting spots in the area! The Omo River runs through Omo National Park and you will certainly catch glimpses of the indigenous people and many animals including elephant, hippo, buffalo, eland and antelope.
